 Marcia S. Brose, MD, PhD (Damon Runyon - Siemens Clinical Investigator '05-'10) reported on the genomic profile of oral cancer cells. Dr. Brose found that cancer-related genes were changed in more than 25% of the oral cancer specimens used in the study. The long term implication of this work is the development of a genetic profile for early detection.
